Miscellany Monday

"Bupcakes"......
My Princess spent the day with me this past Friday and we did one of her most favorite things - decorated "bupcakes."  Anything that she can put icing and sprinkles on is fun to her.  I baked the cupcakes ahead of time and I gave her 3 of them to do with as you wanted.  She would decorate a while and then lick the icing spatula a while.  It was so cute!  While she enjoyed playing, I decorated some and thought they turned out so cute.  Pillsbury makes these kind of projects so easy peasy!

Doing well........

Daddy continues to do very well all things considered.  It is still unbelievable that he has come so far.  He now walks with a cane when he leaves his apartment, but inside his little abode, he walks unassisted.  In fact, he has no assistance with  his dressing, eating or bathing any more.  We stand amazed at how much independence he has regained.  There are definitely a whole lot of things that he will never be able to do again and he still has a significant amount of pain.  But, he has come so far and we pray that he will continue to grow stronger.  The Lord never ceases to amaze me.

Loudmouth..........

Yep, that's our # 1 son, our Princess' Daddy in his new golfing shorts.  They are by Loudmouth Golf Clothing and should you be interested, you can find them here.  His inlaws gave these to him as an early birthday present and he was thrilled too death.  Not everyone can carry off this look, but I think he does a very good job.  But, I could be prejudice. ~grin~  I bet his partners won't have a bit of trouble keeping up with him on the course. I think they are aptly named for sure!

Cutie Patootie........

I have a friend that does the most amazing sewing of anyone I have ever known.  She made the above outfit for Hanna Beth and it is the cutest!!!  Her Daddy has already taught her to yell, "Geaux Tigers"and now with her outfit, she is a real LSU Tiger Fan.  And, might I say, an adorable one!

And, I leave you with this.........

Is that the newish orange cream icing? I haven't tried it but saw it advertised and thought it sounded good. Sweet memories you are making with your granddaughter.
