Lea's Prime Purchases

Here it is, my Prime Purchases.  I had 2 people ask me last week when my next PP would be posted.  They said they were looking for Christmas gift ideas.  So, perhaps something here will "fit the bill" for someone on your gift list.  I'm thinking of getting back to doing my "Favorite Things" post as well.  We'll see, somehow the days get away from me and I find my "blogging juices" don't flow like they once did.  Enjoy!

SKECHER SNEAKERS

I'm a big fan of Skechers and find them very comfortable and their price point is generally really good.  These come in 4 colors and are all so cute but I chose this one.  I love dressier looking sneakers.

BOLERO SHRUG

If you are looking a lightweight jacket/sweater then look no more.  This is the perfect piece and comes in lots and lots of colors.  It is three quarter sleeved and bolero style.  It is the perfect companion to a sleeveless top or dress.  It is very lightweight, so you would need a jacket or coat in addition on a cold winter day. And, a real plus, it is very affordable.

FLOWER VASES IN METAL HOLDER

If you are like me and are not blessed with the ability to arrange flowers, then you need this. I use it for flowers I pick up at the grocery store and it is so cute.  It would make a great gift too. ~just sayin'~

I've grown quite fond of the wide leg style.  These are sweatpants and so cute with your favorite sweatshirt or sweater.  And, they come in an array of colors. The fabric is so soft and the price is great.

I have several sets of these in various colors.  They are a woven plastic but have such a nice look.  And, again, they come in a whole lot of colors and a good, good price.

SMALL CANISTER WITH LID

I've been looking for some oil rubbed bronze canisters for my cream and sugar to go at my coffee bar.  Well, this is advertised as a cotton ball/Q-tip holder but it works great at my coffee bar and is so good looking.  It is plenty big.

And, my new canisters look so nice sitting on this tray at my coffee bar.  I had to do some searching and looking but I am very happy with the new look I created.  This tray is so pretty and would be lovely used to serve from as well.  It is 13.5 inches in diameter, a very nice size.

CROPPED  TRENCH  JACKET

Okay, ladies, these cropped trench jackets seem to be "all the rage."  And, if you find them in a boutique, you might pay 3 times what this one cost.  It is a higher price item even on Amazon but it is so good looking.  It comes in some great colors and can be dressed up or down.  It's so cute with jeans.  Check it out gals!

LIGHTED  MAKEUP  MIRROR

I was in dire need of a bigger travel mirror.  Now, this is NOT a travel mirror but it is going to be used as one.  I have a travel mirror and it no longer cuts it for me and my close up vision.  So, I found a bag that fits it and I will carry it in that bag by itself.  Now, when we fly somewhere I'll have to rethink and perhaps figure out a way to get it in my luggage.  It is a very nice mirror and works with batteries or plugs in.  Suit yourself.  Would be a great gift.

I'm pretty sure I have mentioned these scarves/wraps before, but, they are worth mentioning again.  They are so, so pretty and I needed 3 thank you gifts and decided on these. They come in so many color combinations and can elevate a look real quickly.  Grab one for yourself or as a gift.

MINI  CORDLESS  LED  LAMP

Do you have a small area that could use a little more light.  Well this lamp is the perfect solution.  I am using mine on a book shelve where I wanted a small lamp but did not want a tacky cord. It is rechargeable and a charge lasts a long time.  There are 3 levels of lightening, dim, medium and bright.  Operates from a touch button on the base.  A very nice decorative touch.

It's been a couple of months since I shared any of my Prime Purchases but here are a few of my recent purchases.  Since Christmas is just around the corner, you might find something to use as a gift for someone on your list.  Hope you enjoy!

Glass Vases in Metal Stand

I have a sweet neighbor and friend that always has a big bed of zinnias.  She shares with me frequently and I wanted a quick, easy and attractive way to display them.  This is so cute and can be used for most any flower.  I have zero talent when it comes to arranging flowers so this is perfect for me.  It takes no talent, just put whatever flower you desire in the vases and it looks like a pro did it.  And, it would make a great gift.  They come with colored glass vases as well.

Grout and Tile Cleaner with Scrubber Brush

Can I just say that cleaning our large ceramic tile shower is not on my list of favorite things to do.  Over the 10 years we have lived here I have tried more cleansers than the law allows, the ones you spray on and rinse off, the ones you spray on and leave on overnight and everything in-between.  A friend recommended this set and I'm a big fan of Fuller Brush products and decided to give it a try.  I think I like it better than any cleaner I have used thus far.  You spray it on, leave about 15 minutes or so, use the long handled scrub brush and then rinse.  The brush head is on a swivel so that really makes it much easier to use.

Dry Eye Relief

If you have chronic dry eyes like I do, you might be interested in these drops.  A friend told me about these and they have worked well for me in-between using my prescription drops morning and night.  They are single dose but I get two uses out of each vial.  It seems that dry eyes go right along with aging (hate to say that). It is such an aggravating condition but, it's not life threatening so I can certainly live with it.

Crossbody Bag

My purses are generally huge and heavy.  Guess you might say I have everything except the kitchen sink in them.  So, I use a crossbody such as the one above to take with me shopping or running errands.  It's big enough to hold my billfold, lipstick caddy, keys and reading glasses.  I leave my "big" purse in the floor behind the drivers seat should I need something out of it.  This comes in 15 different colors with the cutest straps and I love that it has an outside slip pocket for your phone.

I've never been a big fan of flats but in recent years they have been so popular and I think they are so cute when I see them on another lady.  So, I decided that I needed to give them a try.  These are on big time sale right now and that made it all the better.  I am so use to heels of some sort or platforms but I really like these and they are very comfortable so I may soon be a fan of flats.

FLAUS Electric Flosser

Folks, I have a small fortune invested in my teeth and flossing is not an option for me nor should it be for anyone.  But, I hate flossing.  I'm always looking for an easier way and I HAVE found it in this electric flosser.  Oh, my goodness, this is the coolest and, for me, the easiest way to floss and, might I add, it's "almost" fun to floss with this. ~chuckle~ And, it's so much neater than a water flosser. ~just sayin'~

How is it June 30th?  I mean, didn't we just celebrate Christmas? Truly, time is flying by and as so many say, the older we get, the quicker it flies.  But, for now, I'll share with you my recent Prime "finds" and we'll not think about how quickly the days are going by.  Hope you enjoy!

I love a wedge slip-on and these are just too cute!  And, I have several pair of Skechers and like them a lot.  I got these more with fall and winter in mind but went ahead and got them as I was afraid they might not be available then. There are a couple other color choices as well.

Hydrating  Spray

I need to use lotion after I shower due to skin dryness.  I get so tired of applying it and thought I'd give this hydrating spray a try.  It is great and, for me, a much quicker way to moisturize my skin.

I do not wear white shoes very often but, every so often I need a pair of white sandals. I found these and they "fit the bill" for me.  And, they come in several colors too.  I really like the addition of the cork.

DISPOSABLE  BAKING TINS WITH LIDS

If you've been hanging around my blog for long then you know I LOVE to bake.  And, I'm always looking for cute containers to bake in or package my baked goods in.  These are the cutest way to bake little mini cakes and they make a nice individual serving.  I've used them twice for cake and once for brownies. I only fill them half full for brownies and a little past half for cake.  After the cake rises during baking there is still plenty of room for icing and then you can cover it with the neat lid that comes with them.

I have a love affair with vacuum cleaners.~chuckle~ This one is so handy to grab for narrow spaces, such as in and around car seats, furniture cushions and the such.  It has a nice array of attachments.  I generally just use the crevice attachment.

AUTOMATIC  CARD  SHUFFLER

Okay, if you need a card shuffler, look NO further.  I have owned 2-3 automatic shufflers over the years and none of them worked as they should.  Cards would get hung up and it was very frustrating.  I decided to look for a new one and when I saw the reviews for this one I decided to give it a try.  It is awesome!  And, it's rechargeable and works like a charm and is quick as lightening.  It will shuffle up to 2 decks at a time.  The gran girls and I play a lot of cards and they put their stamp of approval on it the first time they used it.

Here's some more cute baking tins.  They are perfect for cupcakes and have domed lids to accommodate a thicker icing.  And, the lids make them very portable.

BAGGALLINI  GO  BAGG

I call this my "shopping purse."  It isn't big enough for all the stuff that I carry in my much bigger purse, but it is plenty big enough for all I need when shopping or running errands.  And, I generally will put my bigger purse in the car on the floor behind my seat, just in case I need something out of it.  This is such a cute bag and goes with everything.  It comes in several colors and is so lightweight.

24" ARTIFICIAL  BOXWOOD  WREATH

Since we moved in this house almost 10 years ago I have not hung a wreath on our door.  We have a large iron ornate door that I felt didn't really need a wreath.  Plus, I didn't want to have to store wreaths from season to season.  Well, fast forward to now.  I decided that a simple green wreath with a sash to match the season might be a good look for our door.  So, I ordered this faux boxwood wreath.  It is lush and beautiful and I will only change the sashes with the seasons, thus, no need to store a wreath.  The sashes will co-ordinate with the pillows on the benches on the porch.  These wreaths come in various sizes.  I chose the 24" as our door is very big.

As I've said many times, I'm not sure there's anything that Amazon doesn't have.  I mean, who would have thought that you could find wreath sashes on Amazon.  Not me.  But, I decided to check and "wa-la" there are lots and lots of all sizes and descriptions. Easy peasy!

DECORATIVE  THROW  PILLOW  COVERS

These are such great pillow covers and comes in an array of colors.  These are the covers I use for summer on my front porch.  I use 22" pillows as they are larger and really make a nice statement from the road.

15 SQUARE  NECK  SCARVES

And, neck scarves are making a come back.  This package of solid colors will likely cover any need you might have for a neck scarf.  They are especially nice if you are wearing a top with a design and not a solid color.  They are a "satiny" fabric and are such a fun accessory. And, so inexpensive.

Lea's Prime Purchases

I know, I know, I've been MIA for a while but thought I'd  do a Prime Purchase entry for all those of you that have missed them.  It seems to be a favorite of many, and I do enjoy sharing my "finds" with you because they may resonate with you as they did with me.  I keep thinking I'll get back to regular blogging as well but.......... Perhaps that will happen in the not so distant future, but, for now, I'll try to keep up the Prime Purchase entries.

OSTRICH  FEATHER  DUSTER

I do love our high ceilings but, dusting/cleaning the ceiling fans , door facing tops, tops of window facings, etc.  You get the drift.  This duster is GREAT!  Is it as good as a cloth that I would use with my hands? NO! But, it's as good as it's going to get around here.  Ladders are out of the question at this point for sure, so I'm more than happy with the results of this dandy feather duster that extends to the length I need.  AND, it's lightweight, another good thing.

Some of our outdoor furniture was in need of new cushions this spring.  In the past, Amazon has had little to no selection.  But, this year, they have all kinds of choices in all sizes and patterns.  They no longer have this pattern in stock but they have several other choices in stock.  They are so well made and are in the weather/sun resistant fabric.  We are very pleased.

Who doesn't love a denim jacket?  This one is so cute and I do love the frayed hem.  I end up wearing a jacket even in the hottest of months because so many places I go are so cold on the inside.  That's especially true when eating out or going to church.  I liked this jacket so much that I got the black one as well.  I mean "if one is good, two is better." I recently needed either a hat or a fascinator for an event I was attending.  I saw these and decided I would go with a fascinator.  Well, it was too cute, clipped in my hair so easily and was ONLY $10. It comes in about 20 different colors so if you need a little "snazz" in your life, order yourself one. I may never have a need to wear one again so I was very pleased it was so inexpensive.

I've had a clothes steamer for years but my last one "bit the dust." I browsed through Amazon and this seemed to be highly rated so I ordered it.  I made a good decision.  It has the best burst of steam and does a fantastic job.  If you need a steamer, I highly recommend this one.

CORDLESS  HOT  GLUE  GUN

Every so often I need/want a hot glue gun.  My granddaughter had this one and it is the "bees knees."  I mean, it's cordless and who has time for a bothersome cord on a hot glue gun.  It is so easy to use, heats up extra fast and I think they are a great item to have on hand.

I know that I am "older" but surely even the younger crowd has a hard time reading directions on some over the counter meds, vitamins and the such.   Lord have mercy, could they possibly print them any smaller! Well, it's no longer an issue for me with this little "jewel." I'm pretty sure I will find other uses for it as well.

If you should need a trellis for a pot then these are for you.  We have two Mandevilla plants in pots and we needed trellis that would work in a pot.  These are perfect and look so nice.  I've about decided that whatever you might be looking for, Amazon likely has it.  It's insane but oh, so, convenient!

RETAINE  EYE  DROPS

I've decided that if you are over 55 you likely have issues with dry eyes.  Goodness, it is so aggravating and I'm always looking for the next "best thing" when it comes to drops.  I have a prescription drop but these seem to be even better.  They come in vials and I get three uses out of each vial.  One of my sweet friends told me about these and I'm so glad.

ADJUSTABLE  SHEPHERD'S  HOOK

If you have a heavy hanging basket that you want to hang on a Shepherd's Hook then this "bad boy" is exactly what you need.  We like to hang baskets of asparagus ferns in our flower beds.  They can be a bit heavy and cause a regular Shepherd's Hook to lean and that looks so tacky and aggravates me too death.  I knew they had to make some for heavier baskets and sure enough they do.  The 5 prongs keep it level and it is made of heavy duty metal.  Again, Amazon to the rescue!

JERGENS  NATURAL  GLOW  SELF  TANNER

I've likely shared this awesome find before but it's worth repeating.  This is the BEST self tanner I have ever used and believe you me, I've tried way too many of them.  This comes in Fair to Medium and Medium to Dark.  It is creamy, applied with your bare hands, dries quickly and afterwards you have a very natural tan glow.  It provides me with the perfect natural looking tan and it's only $10 a tube that will last a very long time.  A small amount goes a long ways.  Give it a try!

SEMI-CIRCLE  CUSHION  FOR  OFFICE  CHAIR

I have a wonderful office chair in our home office.  BUT, the seat is too deep and I've tried several "make shift" solutions to no avail.  Again, I began browsing Amazon and ran across this very odd looking pillow configuration.  The best part, for me, it WORKS!  The whole concept is genius. It supports me from my lower back up through my shoulders.  Win! Win!  I can't imagine how someone's mind worked to design something such as this ~ just sayin'
