Amazon Finds

Okay, it's that time again!  And, that means that another month has come and gone.  Goodness, time truly does fly by.  But, on to some of my favorite Amazon purchases. You can click on the Amazon link under each item for easy viewing/purchasing.  Doesn't get much easier than that. ~smile~

Mercury Glass Vintage  Bottle Vases

If you are like me and have difficulty with flower arranging but sometimes need to put something together for a table scape, then these are for you. These mercury glass bottle vases are about 6 inches tall and look lovely with a few flowers placed in them.  I used mine for a dinner a couple of weeks ago and placed them on a mirror and they added the perfect touch.

Clarks Wedge Loafers

Clarks Women's Danelly Iris Leather Slip-On
Ladies, if you are looking for a cute and comfortable pair of casual shoes then these are for you.  They come in several colors but I preferred this champagne color for myself.  I love that they have a little wedge and are not flat.  I do not like flat shoes.  The price is fantastic  for Clarks.

AMAZON

Electric Egg Cooker

My sister in law introduced  me to this jewel a few months back and at first I thought I didn't want or need one.  I didn't realize how easy it could be to boil eggs until I purchased this.  Hubby eats a lot of boiled eggs and I don't mind boiling them now that I've got this automatic cooker.  Place the eggs in it, put water in it, punch the button and forget about it.  Your eggs will be boiled to perfection in about 13 minutes.  It will also poach, scramble or make an omelet.  I haven't done anything but boil eggs in mine but might try the omelet sometime.  It will boil 6 eggs at a time.

Lemi Shine Appliance Cleaner

I had never heard of appliance cleaner until we moved in our new house about 4 1/2 years ago and when we got all of our appliances there were instructions to clean them periodically.  I have never cleaned an appliance, except on the outside, until now.  I'm not sure what the difference is but I figure they tell you to do these things for a reason, so I've been "obeying" the rules.  I've tried a couple of cleaners but someone recommended the Lemi Shine Cleaner and I really like it and best of all, it works for the washing machine and dishwasher.  Perhaps it will prolong the life of them as appliances definitely do not last as long as they use to, even if they are cared for.  I think it's a marketing strategy, purposely make them where they don't last but a few years so we'll HAVE to buy new ones.  No more owning them 15 - 20 years.
AMAZON

Polyester Tablecloth

I had a need for a couple of rectangular table clothes and found these and am more than pleased.  They are 100% polyester, wash, dry and use.  Now, if you prefer linen or cotton that has to be painstakingly ironed then these are NOT for you.  But if you want some really good looking, easy to use, then these are definitely for you.  They come in a lot of colors and are sooooo reasonably priced.  They also come in a lot of sizes and you can find the matching napkins.

AMAZON

Pill Pouches

I started not to include these pill pouches in my post because I figure everyone reading this surely already knows about these prizes.  But, just in case there is someone out there that doesn't, this is for you.  I have been using these for years and they can generally be found at all pharmacies and discount stores.  I just threw them in my Amazon cart because I was ordering some other items.  I know, convenience is key!  I mainly use these for our vitamins when we travel or when we take them with us when we eat out.  But, if you are on regular meds and need to take them with you but don't want to take the whole bottle, these are what you need.

AMAZON

Mug Tree

I got this for the kitchen area at Tommy's office.  It is lovely and doesn't take up a lot of counter space.  We put 4 large mugs on it and it holds them very sturdy.  It comes in black, silver and bronze. And, it's only $12.95.

AMAZON

DECORATIVE EASTER TRAY

Isn't this the cutest?  This is an 18" in diameter melamine platter that I am using on an easel for some of my Easter decor.  It can certainly be used to serve on too.  It makes such a beautiful presentation.

AMAZON

PLATFORM WEDGE FLIP FLOPS

Flip flop weather is just around the corner!  I snagged these and they are so cute and were ONLY $12.95.  Talk about inexpensive!  But, I figure that no more than I'll be wearing them that they will likely last all summer.  They come in 4 different colors.  Better click over and grab yourself a pair.

And, there you have it, my Amazon finds for February.  Have yourself a wonderful new week and new month.

  1. I love seeing your Amazon purchases! It is amazing what we can find there. Love those flats, it seems I have been needing more comfy shoes running back and forth to the hospital. That cleaner also looks like something I need:) Oh and the vases are gorgeous!

  2. So many of these went on my wish list...great recommendations this month. I like the idea that the appliance cleaner does both the dishwasher and washer. And that is so true about appliances not lasting like they used to. We had an issue with our new washer before the year warranty even expired. Thank goodness the $400 "minor" repair was covered. The repairman said he basically only gets warranty calls now, because more people would just buy a new unit instead of paying for expensive repair. I think it's all the electronics. I also love that vase! Thanks for linking up with Prime Purchases! Tanya - The Other Side of the Road

  6. Love me some wedge shoes! I am so stinking short that I need all the help I can get with height. LOL! I do like flat casuals but it all depends on what I am wearing. I have bought several pair of stylish flats I have enjoyed wearing with jeans but I always go for the wedge type shoes too. I take quite a few vitamins so keep a pill box filled for home to make it easier and carry it with me when going somewhere. But I do like the idea of those little bags. I saw some of those recently and almost bought them. Think I might now. Thanks for the views Lea. Enjoyed seeing the amazon finds. Hugs and blessings, Cindy

  8. Like you, I use those small plastic bags for our pills and such when we travel. Space in the suitcase is always at a premium, so these bags are a big help.
