I'm glad you're going ahead with the trip. Caregivers need refreshment and you have been a great caregiver. I pray that you will have tremendous peace as you leave, entrusting your dad to God no matter whose human hands are caring for him in your absence.

ReplyDeletePraying for you. I know you must hate leaving your father's side, but I also know how important taking some me time is. It's hard on me now that my times is being torn between my parents and my step-son. caregiving is difficult. I have felt it wearing on me a bit the last couple of days. So definitely take your trip, enjoy and leave your dad in God's care. Have fun!

I miss you!! It has been fun hearing about your trip but I'm happy you'll be back today :) I pray that your Daddy had a restful time while you were away and is improving each day. He is always in my prayers. I can't wait to see some pictures from your trip!
