Prime Purchases

It's hard to believe that June is here.  I feel that we pretty much lost the past 2 months of 2020 and we'll never get them back.  But, I won't elaborate on that but rather share with you some of my Prime Purchases for May.

PVC Place Mats

Yes, these are the prettiest placemats made from PVC.  That may sound "yuck" to you but, let me assure you, they are very nice and come in an array of colors.  If this link doesn't have the color you desire, just search Amazon for more PVC placemats and I'm fairly sure you will find the color you want.  They are a casual mat but that's what I use 95% of the time and I have about 5 sets of these in various colors.

AMAZON

Glass Gazing Ball

I LOVE  gazing balls and just ordered this one with the stand below to go in our rose garden.  I don't have a link for this because it has sold out.  But, you can search through all the gazing balls on Amazon and are sure to find one that you would enjoy.  I think they are such a lovely addition to flowerbeds and when the sun hits them, they are so beautiful.

Wrought Iron Gazing Ball Stand

And, this stand is no longer available either.  Not sure what's with this but, again, there are so many gazing ball stands available on Amazon.  Depending on where you will be putting it will dictate the height that you get.  Often the 12" high stands work perfectly.    This particular one is about 36" high but it was going in a bed with taller plants and it needed to be taller to be seen.  We have a lot of wind where we live and no trees so Hubby put anchor pins on this stand so that it will be able to withstand the wind.

Tervis Insulated Tumblers

I have been using Tervis tumblers for years and years.  I just recently replaced my set.  I  probably had the last set for 12+ years and they were a big dingy and scratched.  They are an absolutely great everyday tumbler and you can get tight lids for them with a straw hole.  That is a great feature for kids or for taking them in the car.  And, you can get them in a few colors as well.

AMAZON

DEEP FRY/CANDY THERMOMETER

If you ever use a candy thermometer, then this is the Grand daddy of them all.  The one I replaced with a small glass one that clipped on the side of the pan.  This one also clips on side of pan but is the largest I've ever seen.  I basically only use it when I make peanut brittle but it is sure necessary for that.

SPARKLE  VISORS
Clip On Visors for Women | 634 Sparkle Clip-On Sun Visor | Visor ...
Until our salons opened back up a couple of weeks ago, visors were my best friend.  And, these are the cutest!  I mean, if you're going to wear a visor, it might as well be cute and sassy. ~grin~  And,
AMAZON

BRIGHT  COLORED  ENVELOPES

I love colored envelopes!  I never like it when I buy a card, of any kind, and it comes with a plain  white envelope.  And, thankfully, many cards come with colored envelopes now.  If I have to mail anything that goes in a business size envelope then I always use one of these.  I keep a stock of them.  I think it's way more fun to get something in a colored envelope!  I recently had to mail something out to members of a club I'm in and I had run out of colored envelopes and had to mail them in white ones.  I was not happy that I had not kept a more watchful eye on my supply.  Sometimes it's the little things folks!

AMAZON

12 OZ. KIDS  CUPS

If you have kids or grans that have outgrown the spillproof cups but you still need something that is almost spillproff, then these are for you.  We have a 4 and 5 year old that no longer want to use what they call "baby cups" but these are okay.  They are a good size and the top fits very tight.  They come with a matching plastic straw or you can use disposable straws.  There's several choices and they come 3 to a pack.

AMAZON

POTTED  PLANT  STANDS

I prefer that my pots on our back porch be off of the concrete and these are attractive pot stands and are 3 different heights.

AMAZON

SLOGGERS  WATERPROOF  SHOES

I had never heard of these yard shoes until I saw them in Tuesday Morning one day.  Of course, I figured Amazon would have them too and they did.  And, they come in soooo many patterns.  They are great for working outside as they can be hosed off, and left to dry until next time.  They run narrow which was great for me but if you have a wider foot, that might be an issue.  They are so well made and most comfortable.

And, there you have it for another month.  Enjoy your Tuesday!!!!

  6. The colors in the gazing ball are spectacular. I think it would be a good painting inspiration.
