It's Monday and time to be random. Here goes.........
First day..........
Well, they do grow up and my Grandchildren are no exception. Clancy had his first day of preschool this past week and he was one more excited little boy. Can you tell? He had not a reservation at all and he was so thrilled about taking his "show and tell" item. I would loved to have heard him tell about his item. He is so animated and dramatic.........be still my heart!
And they came.........
Hubby takes exceptionally good care of the feathered friends here around our house. He makes his own hummingbird feed and apparently those little guys just love it. At one time yesterday there were 8 at this feeder but I didn't have my camera close at hand at that time. Then when I went and got my camera I couldn't seem to capture them quick enough. I did finally get this one of these two. What amazing little creatures!
Joining up..........
I first heard of Bible Study Fellowship (BSF) some 30 years ago and have been an invited guest numerous times. But, I have never joined. I seemed to always have, what I thought, were very good reasons. Too busy, afraid of that type of commitment, and on and on. Well, this Wednesday I will attend my first BSF as a member. I have mixed emotions but I am excited. I'm excited to be a part of such an in depth Bible Study that requires daily study and preparation. I have always done best in Bible Study when I am a part of an organized study. I love the structure of BSF and the respect they have of everyone's time. As in all things, I will have to get into the flow but I know that I will have many blessings as a result of this commitment. This years study is on the book of Genesis.
I couldn't help myself.....
Saturday morning brought temps in the low 60's and it was just all I needed to "send me over the edge." I just couldn't help myself, I had to go ahead and decorate the front door and porch for fall. I'm thinking that it might just help the cooler temps to hang around. Just maybe........
And, how many times has this been your thought......(big smile)
Clancy is the cutest thing! He really looks like he is animated and full of personality. Oh and the front door, you'd best be grateful that I don't live closer to you, because those sunflowers would be gone! I love them :)

ReplyDeleteClancy is too cute! I am so glad you are signed up for BSF. I was a children's leader for seven years in BSF and loved every minute of it. I also completed all of the studies. This is what helped me develop the habit of Bible study and the love for the Word. It is a wonderful organization. I've been to visit their headquarters in San Antonio and it's beautiful. They are a class organization. You will benefit so much from it. I have many life long friends that I met at BSF.
ReplyDeleteBlessings and love,
Debbie
What a cute fella...looks like a lot of fun.
ReplyDeleteI'm nearly ready for fall decorating but not quite. Still pretty hot around here.
Your wreath is lovely.
