Friday Favorites

Today's favorites will be items/things that I really like/love and think you might too.

I'm not sure I could live without this one item in my life.  I am forever needing a label and this is my "go to!"  Yes, you can make a regular label on the computer but not this kind.  And, they are easy on and easy off with no residue.  I use this every week of my life as I do love labeling things. ~smile~

And, I sleep on this baby every night of my life and have for the past 8 years.  It is a super fine contour pillow that keeps your neck and back aligned.  When my Chiropractor suggested this I was not sure how something shaped like this was going to feel.  But, it is the "cat's meow" as they say.  I have only had 2 in 8 years and they have both been from Brookstone.  They are $99 and worth every cent.  You can find them much less expensive but just remember, you get what you pay for generally.  I don't think $99 is that bad for something that you get 4 years of use out of and it keeps your neck in good working order.

These are the neatest bags and especially to someone like me who is in love with just about every product that Ziploc makes. ~chuckle~  There are many uses for them but I use them mainly for packaging meat portions in before I put them in a ziploc freezer bag.  I might buy a big package of chicken breasts and then break them down into portions for Hubby and me.  I put each individual breast in one of these and then in the freezer bag and to me, they stay so much fresher and you don't have to worry about freezer burn.  I do this with other meat as well.  I will often make up hamburger patties and freeze them and I put each one in one of these just as I do the chicken breasts.  I can rarely find these in our local stores so I order them off Amazon since there is not anything that Amazon does not sell. ~amazing~
I found out about this wonderful sweetner a couple of years ago and it is all I use in my coffee now.  I was using one of the brands that has Aspartame and I knew I had to get away from that scary ingredient.  This is all natural and has such a good taste.  I do find that I have to use 3 packages per cup of coffee instead of 2 that I was using with the other brand. It comes in bags to use in baking and such but I have no experience with that.  I use the "real thing" in my baking but I should try this and see how it works sometime.
Okay, there you have it, my favorites for this week.  Women need to always keep each other well informed of their favorite items as they just might become another women's favorite as well. It's called "sticking together."  Now, go and have yourself an awesome weekend!

  2. I bought the "no snore" pillow from Brookstone for my husband. You can see how well it worked from the bags under my eyes. Enjoy your weekend!

  3. Lea,

Oh, how I wish I had a label maker. I could use one to label the shelves in my walk in pantry. Your a lucky gal.

I've never tried Stevia as I don't sweeten my coffee - If I do it's usually honey. But it would be interesting how Stevia would taste in baked goods. I've also heard raves about truvia.

    Have a good weekend,
    ~Kiki~

  5. Thanks for all the new ideas in your favorites this week. I love hearing about new products to try. Do you have to sleep on your back for that pillow to be comfortable? Thanks and have a good weekend. Tanya

  6. I am very anxious to find those bags on Amazon and give them a try as hubby and I have the same issues and I find myself always wanting to take portions of meat out and freeze them. My mother had one of those pillows too and swore by it. Have not tried Stevia but think I might have to give that a whirl too.
sooo many good suggestions! Have a good week-end!
