This is my 3rd blog post in 3 days. That's a first for me in 8 1/2 years of blogging. Yea! me! Meanwhile, let me get busy answering the questions Joyce has for us today.
1. What's something blogging has taught you about yourself?
That I really enjoy writing. I'm definitely not one of the best writers, but as folks have said to me, I write just like I talk. And, I would think that is likely true of most folks. It's been a run ride!
2. Leftovers...are you in the 'reheat and eat' camp or the 'put them in the fridge until they spoil and then toss them' camp?
Yes, we do leftovers, especially Hubby. He loves for us to have them in the frig so if he comes in for lunch he can quickly grab something and warm it up.
What's your favorite thing to have leftover?
Soups, chili and the such, not much else for me.
What can you not abide as a leftover?
I am not a fan at all of a left over hamburger. I want it fresh off the grill but Hubby loves to have them leftover.
3. 'Me time'...your thoughts?
Love, love, love me time and I generally get enough of it. I think everyone should enjoy some "me" time just to get to know themselves better and think a little straighter.
4. When people come to you for help, what do they usually want help with?
Well, it really depends on who it is, but often it is helping to organize something or do some kind of computer design work. I enjoy doing both and am glad to help if I can.
5. If your childhood had a smell what would it be? Tell us why.
Linen - My parents raised me and my 2 brothers in love, with the highest of standards and disciplined us accordingly. Our family was cool, clean and crisp just like the smell of linen. ~grin~

This picture was taken last week at The Oklahoma Children's Museum. Coleman just went right to Santa and I do believe this is one of the best "real live" Santa's I've ever seen. I think it is just a perfect picture. ~and I'm not biased~
Love the linen analogy. I thought the same thing about the real life Santa and loved seeing all the cousin pictures. After answering the warmed-over question, I put on a pot of soup yesterday and look forward to warming it up today. Three posts for me this week too and yes a record.
ReplyDeleteAnd I love how cool and crisp and to the point many of your responses were. You are true to your lovely upbringing... yes, the linen analogy is really great. I absolutely love the Santa photo.. your grandson is adorable!
ReplyDeleteI hope you decide to frame the picture of Santa and Coleman. It really is picture perfect!
ReplyDeleteI bet you have some serious ironing skills : ) My hubs is the better ironer here, so he does that job and I'm happy to let him. When I read blogs I imagine the person speaking in real life as they do on their blog. So far, the bloggers I've met in person have proved that to be true. I've never been to LA but maybe one of these days! It would be fun to meet in person.
ReplyDeleteI forgot to mention the photo! Sooo cute!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful pic of Coleman and Santa! Have a great week, Lea.
ReplyDeleteOh that is just the cutest photo of your little grand with Santa! You are correct...he looks very authentic and Coleman looks very comfortable with his! Enjoyed your answers, Lea!
ReplyDeleteI don't seem to have the time to do Hodgepodge lately but I do enjoy seeing what you and my other blogging friends have had to say to the questions. Question #5, designating a scent that you associate with your childhood -- that was a challenging one, but you answered it very well!
ReplyDeleteWhat a precious Santa picture. I don't like leftovers in any form...except dessert. LOL. My husband loves them and takes them to work for lunch. I love me time and have a lot of it since moving to CA. When people come to me it's usually for cooking or decorating advice and I love to give both💕 Congrats on 3 posts in a row! That's awesome. I've just recently cut back from 5 days to 3 days and feel much better not having the pressure of posting every day. Happy Wednesday 😘
ReplyDeleteI especially like having Thanksgiving leftovers in the house. I do love cold steak leftovers. I love the smell of your childhood. It actually sound like you which is a compliment to how fresh and clean you come across, along with your writing.
ReplyDeleteI agree no go on the leftover hamburgers - love your blog and yay for 3 in a row :) xoxo ERIN
ReplyDeleteLinen. What an unusual and lovely answer to that question. Sweet picture, too. xo
