Oh I hope your Dad makes a speedy recovery! We have about 10 lanes of checkers at our Walmart and only 4 self check out lines. There is someone always there to help you and I always need HELP! Enjoy your week!!
ReplyDeletePraying for your Daddy. I feel the same way about self-checkout at Wal-Mart. I actually try to avoid even going in that store because it frustrates me so much. I'd rather go to Target. However, every once in a while I just have to go for one reason or another.
ReplyDeletePraying that your dad makes a quick and full recovery.
ReplyDeleteWe don't have any self check out lanes at our Wal-Mart. But Wal-Mart in general frustrates me ... unfortunately some things I can only get at Wal-Mart, so I go when I have to. Otherwise, I shop at Target (which doesn't have any self check out lanes either, thankfully).
So funny about the self checkout. I know what you mean! I get so self-conscious if I try to use one.
ReplyDeleteHa-my daughter was just saying how Walmart by her has about 72 lanes but never more than 2 open. And there is never anyone to help with the self check. Ugh.
ReplyDeleteThat baby is too cute! Wishing your dad a speedy recovery!
I certainly will pray for your dad's health. How scary.
ReplyDeleteYour rant against Walmart was funny. Our local ones don't have self-checkouts yet, but the grocery stores do. When the robot lady tells me, "Move your...bananas...off the belt.." I want to scream, "move YOUR banana, lady!"
Glad to hear the move went off okay. Still sad for you.
Prayers for your Daddy! I wish I had seen this a few days ago! I hope his recovery is fast.
ReplyDeleteI know what you're talking about with the self-checkout lanes. I avoid them at all cost (and Wal-mart too for that matter...they are NOT nice in our area!).
So excited that you booked a trip to see Clancy! I know it will be a wonderful time for you :)
Hugs!
