Friday's Letters

Photobucket

Dear Bristol (as in Palin) - I cannot help but have admiration for you.  You have definitely taken lemons and made lemonade and I salute you for that.  I'm excited about your TV show beginning in April, 2013 and also about your being on Dancing with the Stars again next season. You go girl!

Dear Clancy - Poppa and I are so excited about coming to Dodge City next week to help you celebrate your 4th birthday.  We'll see you next Wednesday evening sweetie!

Dear Van Eli - Thank you so much for making shoes in a narrow width.  If it weren't for you, I might not have any shoes.  It seems every other maker has quit making shoes for us who happen to be "blessed" with a narrow foot.  Please hang in there and I'd love it if you lowered your prices.  Sometimes you are a little too proud of your shoes. ~wink~

Dear X-Factor - I've never watched you until this season and I'm thinking that you are giving American Idol a run for their money.  Your try outs have been much more entertaining with less stupidity. Right now, I'm hooked!

Dear Instant Idahoan Potatoes - Where have you been all my life?  I mean, you are the best instant potatoes that I have ever eaten and I don't know that I'll fix "real" potatoes again.  I love that you come with all kinds of different seasonings, or just butter or just nothing.  Hubby agrees and he actually prefers you over the "real" ones.  I'm so glad my DIL told me about you.

Dear Predictive Text - You aggravate the "daylites" out me!!  You say things that I don't want you to say.  I really wish you would just let me text my own words and not try to be so helpful. Understand???

Dear Readers of my Blog - I am truly honored that you give me a few minutes of your time by reading my blog.  I am constantly amazed at how many folks tell me that they stop by.  I'm thrilled that you enjoy this little "corner of my world" and I hope that it brings a smile to your face and joy to your heart when you stop by.

And, I leave you with this.......

  2. Good morning! We have been taping the XFactor but haven't watched any of them yet...now I am anxious. Discovered those potatoes about a year ago...are they wonderful or what? We even used them for Thanksgiving last year and everyone LOVED them. Quick, easy and wonderful...soo works for me. We are going to help celebrate a grands BDay next too. Are we blessed or what? Have a good week-end!

  3. Your Friday's Letters are such fun. My hubby isn't a fan of mashed potatoes, so those instant potatoes sound right up my alley for when I get a hankering for mashed potatoes.

  4. I, too, like Idahoans. Not better than real ones, but since the whole family likes 'em, why bother with all the peeling and boiling?

So glad you get to see Clancy! That's really special that he gets to have CiCi and Poppa there for his big 4.

  7. Lol, I have to agree about the predictive text thing. When I try to type here, it automatically puts in heterosexual! Can you imagine? Just incase I don't "see" you before Wednesday, enjoy!

  8. I love to read your Friday letters! I am loving The Voice better than The X Factor. Here's why. The first five full minutes of The X Factor is all about the judges. Simon riding in a limo, etc. He has had a few redeeming moments this season though. I loved when Panda auditioned and how he loved her. I hope she is OK though. But the judges on The Voice seem more genuine to me. I use my DVR and can usually tape both shows but occasionally there's a clash with others I tape. My choice between the two if need be, is The Voice.
