Friday Favorites

I'm joining up with Narci, Andrea and Erika for Friday Favorites this week.  Here's just a few of my favorites...........

 About 3-4 years ago I began drinking half decaf and half regular coffee.  I wanted to lessen the caffeine in my life.  I have a Keurig and the only available half and half they offered in the pods was just regular coffee.  BUT, about 6 months ago I ran across the half-caff and Hazelnut.  Oh, I do love me some hazelnut and I was thrilled too death.  I have only been able to find it online or in Bed,Bath and Beyond. ~just in case you want to get some too~

If you remember, one of my new year's resolutions was to begin drinking lots and lots of water this year.  Well, I would have to give myself an A+ on this.  And, it's true, the more you drink, the more you want to drink.  But, at times I do long for a different taste and a couple of months ago I began researching some of the water flavorings.  A lot of them have aspartame or other, not so good for you, ingredients.  But, ah, the Dasani Drops, to the best of my knowledge, are as safe as safe can be.  And, they are wonderful!  I love all of them, but the Strawberry Kiwi is one of my favorites.

 I'm a big fan of Mary Kay Cosmetics and use their entire line of skin care.  But, I will use other brands of color cosmetics from time to time.  This spring Mary Kay came out with a chubby sort of eye shadow pencil and on the other end was eye liner.  Well, they only had one color that was to my liking so I began searching for them in other cosmetic lines.  And, I found them at the Clinique counter last week.  They are actually called Chubby Sticks.  They have an array of colors and I found about 3-4 that suited me.  I am basically a neutral gal and love the green and brown in the above picture.  They are so soft and have just a bit of shimmer.  They have a great cream color that I use as a base color.  I never have thought I would care anything about cream eye shadow but I guess it's all in learning how to apply it and with this being a fat pencil, it's quite easy.  

Speaking of color cosmetics, this lipstick is one of my all time favorite colors.  It is Fresh Moroccan by MAC.  It is, for lack of a better description, a coppery red.  I use a neutral gloss over it and I'm in heaven.  I am not one to use 4-5 different lipstick colors, I try to find one color that pretty much goes with everything.  Hey, if I can cut decisions out of my life then that is all the better. ~grin~ Lipstick is probably my most favorite of all color cosmetics.

I'm so excited to see the jumpsuit make a comeback.  Yes, they are the devil to get up and down when going to the potty, but I don't generally wear them all day long. I am usually not a fan of stripes but I did get the jumpsuit shown above.  It was at Chico's earlier in the year and I fell in love with it.  I would like to find one that is either crop or capri length.  AND, the fit on these "girls" is crucial as they can be either very flattering or otherwise. ~and you know what I'm talking about~
